Memorial Day is about remembering the sacrifices of the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. I am truly thankful to each and everyone. But this Memorial Day I would like to honor the living and well as the dead. Freedom Costs The cost of freedom is always high. It costs men and women their lives. It costs spouses their husbands and wives. It costs mothers and fathers their sons and their daughters. Yes, the cost of freedom is always high. It costs children their fathers and mothers. It costs siblings their sisters and brothers. It costs grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Yes, freedom carries a high cost-a cost that never ends. So today as we remember the brave men and women who have died, Let's pray for those who loved them-the ones they left behind. For their loved ones whose tears have fallen on flag draped coffins Have also paid the cost for freedom, as well as those who have fallen. God bless all who have paid freedom's cost!
